Richard Brewer started in the Machining industry in 1978.
He worked as a machinist for a large local job shop while studying Machine Tool Technology at his local technical college at night. Rick worked his way up to Shop Foreman, then moved into the design department where he was responsible for a mechanical design using CAD software, quoting, purchasing, and programming CNC machining centers. Rick opened Elite Tool & Design, Inc with his partner Robert Edwards in 1996.
Robert Edwards, co-owner of Elite Tool & Design, Inc, has been working in the machining industry for over 43 years.
In that time, he has created parts and built machines for companies such as Westinghouse, Bose, Modine, Bosch, Bausch, and Siemens. “Bob” uses his experience to lead and guide the design and machining teams at Elite Tool & Design, Inc.
Mr. Edwards spends his free time hunting, fishing, and gardening and loves to be outdoors as much as possible.
